Old tin cans can easily get upcycled to penholders with some paper and glue.
Here’s how you do it:
DIY CAN PENHOLDER TUTORIAL
Empty cans (preferably non-rifled), some pretty paper, a pair of scissors and a glue stick.
- Cut out a piece of the paper with the same height as the can and with a width about an inch more than the circumference of the can.
- Put one vertical line of glue on the outside of the can. Put one of the short sides of the paper over the “glue line” and make sure the paper is straight. Wrap the paper around the can and fasten the other short side with glue. Let dry.
